Why and how to blog was not the only internet marketing strategy on the agenda of the three day conference I attended this weekend. However, everything we learned was highly applicable.
The conference was put together by James Schramko, an Australian internet marketer. He calls himself a generalist in internet marketing, but he is in fact a very highly-regarded leader in the field internationally.
One of Jame’s prerequisites for presenting at the course, and the presenters were all experts in their areas, was high content delivery and minimum pitching, which from an attendee’s point of view was pure gold.
Over the coming weeks, I will be sharing with you the key take-outs, as I learned them and can apply them to why you must blog.
One of the major cross overs from almost every presenter was about giving. From a business perspective, this is the aspect that is greatly appealing about the online world, and blogging in particular.
It is about giving. Not taking or pocketing or selling, but sharing. How refreshing is that? Of course, it would be naive to imply that at some point a transaction won’t take place. When it does, it will be because what you offer comes from a position of trust.
Presenter, Ed Dale, serious internet entrepreneur and creator of the 30 Day Challenge while discussing various internet marketing strategies including how to blog, said that no one ever went broke giving away information.

Which brings us back to blogging.
Leaders in the field – those that put the most content up with the most regularity – that is it. Ed Dale
When passion, expertise and conviction converge, blogging gives, informs and educates. Creating good quality content has never been simpler! I look forward to sharing how in the next few weeks.
